When Kanemaru-san is standing with other men, you can't tell how tall he is as easily. But when he's standing with a bunch of women... https://img-cdn.jg.jugem.jp/bb6/926165/20110926_2132795.jpg

HE'S SO FRICKIN' TALL XDDD
I'm only putting a link to the image so I don't have to download it o.o https://img-cdn.jg.jugem.jp/bb6/926165/20110625_2066285.jpg
Creepy. In a humorous way.
Kanemaru-san wrote a song called Lonely Aviator, inspired by Saint-Exupery. Ya'll need to read about him. He's a very intriguing person. You should also read The Little Prince. It might seem like a childish book on the surface, but it's really good! I highly recommend it. If you can find a version with the original illustrations, that's even better. I wish there was a video of Kanemaru-san singing this song ;O;

First, I was totally freaked out, then, I was just, "Awwww," and THEN I laughed my butt off x'D

Wuaaa?

One year, Kanemaru-san bought a shirt for himself, cut off the sleeves, and turned them into shirts for his cats?!
Here, just look: http://junbowz.jugem.jp/?eid=181#gsc.tab=0

Crazy. This guy can do literally everything. I can't even sew anything beyond patching up very small holes, and I'm not the best in the world at that. Gyahhhh

ETA: Apparently, his grandmother taught him how to sew when he was little. My Nana tried to teach me crocheting, but I just couldn't grasp it ^^,
When Kanemaru-san was recording Mama wa Shōgaku Yonensei, he played an Italian character, so he decided to learn some Italian to play his role better. As a result, he developed a keen interest in Italy and traveling there, but he also likes traveling in general ^^
This is the happiest day of my life 😭/j (kinda)
I never dreamed he would ever reply or like one of my tweets asdfhdafhfsgjfgg

Ya'll have no idea how happy I am right now *sob*

I've sent him two emails and he's never responded, I rt one of his tweets AND HE NOT ONLY REPLIES, BUT LIKES IT 🌀💨🩵🩵🩵
I originally wrote this on December 29th last year, but I didn't get around to posting it because I was having minor issues with my laptop charger (s'all good now), and then I got ultra-distracted (^^,) Anywho, here it is.

Well, it turns out Eulee actually died the 22nd, Kanemaru-san just didn't post about it then. Poor Eulee had a left heart valve that was larger than the other valves, but there was no concern at the time. Fast-forward to last week, and he was playing with Glynn and kept falling. Kanemaru-san got worried and rushed to the vet. They tried a couple things, but nothing worked. ;; I think this is why Tails Tube hasn't been dubbed yet, but I don't know.

Now it's January, and it still hasn't been dubbed. Oh, well. Maybe at this point, they're waiting 'til December since it's a Christmas one.
But first a pic:

"Love is letting go fears." -Kanemaru Jun'ichi

If “love” in this context is platonic love, then letting go of your fears lets you open up to others and connect with them. That reminds me of the concept of vulnerability, which is indeed quite scary at times. But if we allow ourselves to start relationships with people, then that can lead to deeper connections, therefore love.
If “love” in this context is romantic love, I can see where he is coming from. Unfortunately, this reminds me of how I ended up in a relationship with my ex, which is painful for me to think about, but since I haven’t been able to stop thinking about him since I fell in love with him, I might as well bring that up… I find love very frightening. I used to be more afraid of it than I am now. I desperately wanted to keep from falling in love because I was afraid that so many unwanted things would happen if I did. I think I probably had philophobia or something. Anyway, if it wasn’t for him coincidentally falling in love with me and confessing first (I had also planned to confess, albeit making it clear that I didn’t want to start a relationship, but he beat me to it), I wouldn’t have realized that, like most fears, love is nothing to be afraid of, and it benefits you (at least in some ways). I had to let go of all the irrational fears of this and that that I thought would happen, and just accept my feelings.
If “love” in this context is agape love, I believe it can also apply to humans in our relationship with God. We are often afraid to come to Him as the little sinful children we are. We’re afraid we’ve sinned too much. We’re afraid we haven’t done enough good deeds. We’re afraid we haven’t told enough people about Him. We’re afraid we haven’t read our Bibles enough. We’re afraid we’ve missed too many church services. But when we finally realize how helpless we are without Him and come before Him with shame on our faces, He embraces us with a love we could never feel from anything or anyone else.
I think it’s clear that Kanemaru-san knew what he was saying whether he fully realized the powerfulness of his words or not. Now that I’ve broken down this quote for myself, I love it even more.

Quote source: Jun’ichi Kanemaru
Although I know he said this quote, I don’t know where/when. I just found it on an old LiveJournal entry from 17 years ago…
Kanemaru-san's cat, Eulee, died yesterday. I don't know what happened, but it was very sudden and unexpected. He said there was nothing he could do about it, so that makes me think it wasn't a sickness or anything like that. Eulee just turned 2 earlier this month ;; What's even more sad is this is his second cat named Eulee... I'll talk more about that sometime. I'm praying for him during this sadness.
"Love is letting go fears." -Kanemaru Jun'ichi

Hmm. ^^ I kinda like the way it sounds, but I should analyze it a bit. I'll make an entry with my thoughts about it sometime ♡

I originally wrote this on the 9th, but Dreamwidth was under maintenance or something that day, so I couldn't post it ;;

I haven't been well lately. My neck has been hurting since Monday. Yesterday, it was the worst it's been, and on top of that, I started ;; At least my neck's better today. We're also under a tornado watch until 11 PM or something. What a week -.- At least I finished my Christmas video in advance, so now all I gotta do is upload it on the day of ^^ I'm super excited about it, too. It's Kanemaru-san singing :D

I guess I should give some updates, lol First, my neck is all better ^0^ Second, my period is almost over now, so I'm not in any pain *dance* And third, the tornado didn't hit us :D My week may have started out bad, but it's turning out pretty good! ^^
He drew a picture of the Little Prince!!! Ahhhh~ It's so good!

I'm putting this as a Drive link so it won't get lost in the future ^^
I'm putting this here because I forgot about it, and I don't wanna forget it again ^^

Kanemaru-san is a big fan of Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) and he even says he's similar to the Prince xD But seriously, it's a really good book. I read it in high school and loved it, even though it's kinda marketed as a children's book. It's actually pretty deep, and it's a good read with charming artwork by the author himself. Def something to read before you die, imo ^^

I really like that Kanemaru-san is a fan of this book ^0^
I think it's so cool that Kanemaru-san is an English teacher ^^ One time, I even noticed one of his students reply to one of his tweets ^0^ It was kinda funny, but also cool! He's even liked a few of my replies. I'm totally not bragging... *hides* But yeah, he's really dedicated to his fans. That makes me happeh ^^ He's also a cat person, which makes me even more happeh ^-^ His cats, Glynn and Eulee, are so. Precious \^O^/

As a side note, Eulee turned 2 yesterday, so happy birthday, Euleeee! <3
I love the song Modern Love. I can't remember the name of the artist. He's relatively popular; I just don't listen to secular radio, hehe. I'm also in love with a song from Jun'ichi Kanemaru. Something about a quasar star... I don't know the name in English yet ^^, I've gotta listen to it before I go to bed, though. It has a saxophone in it that I'm absolutely in love with! It gives me low-key Christmas vibes ^^
